The road from Kampala is 10-12 hours on rough terrain. A 2-hour charter flight from Entebbe makes Kidepo accessible and comfortable. Most itineraries use fly-in/fly-out logistics.
Pack for Heat and Cold
Daytime temperatures reach 35°C on the valley floor, but nights can drop below 15°C at higher elevations. Pack layers and sun protection.
