Wilderness Usawa Serengeti

Wilderness Usawa Serengeti is a light footprint mobile camp built to follow the Great Migration across Serengeti National Park. Rather than sit in one place, the camp relocates through the year between sites in the northern hills, the southern plains, the western corridor and the Lamai and Grumeti areas, using real time wildlife movement and weather to decide where to be. The camp holds six en suite safari tents for a maximum of twelve guests and can be booked for sole use. Tents are furnished with hardwood and canvas, hand made textiles and full en suite bathrooms, and open onto the plains. A central mess and lounge tent under stretched canvas serves as the dining room and bar, with a campfire outside for the evening. The whole camp is solar powered and locally built and sourced, configured to each environment so it can be struck and moved with minimal trace. Days centre on game drives and walking safaris guided by the camp team, with the migration itself as the reason the camp is wherever it is.
