Wilderness Magashi Peninsula

Wilderness Magashi Peninsula is an ultra-exclusive safari camp located within a 5,000-acre private wilderness at the furthest reaches of Akagera National Park, Rwanda. With just two suites and one villa set along its own exclusive piece of Lake Rwanyakazinga shoreline, it is one of the most intimate safari experiences in East Africa. The two couple's suites are positioned 200 metres apart for complete privacy, each featuring excellent lake views, alfresco rooftop beds for sleeping under the stars, and a private plunge pool. The exclusive-use villa offers two en-suite rooms plus an adaptable space that can serve as a gym, office, or children's room, along with private living areas, a dedicated plunge pool, private guide, and personalised in-villa dining. Set against the backdrop of the Mutumba Mountains with Lake Rwanyakazinga at its feet, the peninsula is home to Big Five wildlife including leopards, lions, white rhinos, buffalo, and Masai giraffes, as well as topi, sitatunga, oribi, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and over 500 bird species. Activities include day and night game drives, guided nature walks, boating safaris, and catch-and-release fishing.
