Waridi Beach Resort & Spa is a four-star, all-inclusive retreat set among palm groves on Zanzibar’s northeast coast, where Swahili carved wood, coral stone and warm colour combine with a laid-back beach resort feel. The property is arranged around a lush tropical garden that runs down to a wide white sand beach, with an ocean view swimming pool, sun loungers and makuti umbrellas providing the main gathering spot by day. A second, quieter pool sits closer to the Body & Soul Spa, where guests can book massages and treatments or simply relax by the indoor pool. Rooms range from the Classic and Family Rooms in the main building to private garden and ocean view bungalows, up to the two signature suites, the Sultan Suite and the Waridi Suite, both furnished with carved four poster beds and their own terraces. Dining is centred on a buffet restaurant serving Mediterranean dishes alongside Zanzibari specialities, with two bars for sundowners and cocktails on the beach.
