Villa Arumeru is a small garden lodge set among tropical grounds beneath Mount Meru, about five kilometres from Kilimanjaro International Airport and an hour from Arusha town. Rooms are spacious and en-suite with air conditioning, mosquito nets and private balconies or verandas, and the property has a restaurant serving international and local cuisine, a stocked bar and a swimming pool set in shaded gardens. Its location makes it a practical base for guests arriving or departing on safari, or heading out to climb Kilimanjaro or Meru.
