Tukaone Camps Serengeti

Tukaone Camps operates three tented camps in Central Serengeti, each built to sit lightly in its surroundings while keeping guests close to the action of the plains. The camps share a single design language: canvas tents raised on hardwood decks, open verandas that run the length of the camp, and a mess and lounge tent facing the grassland. Tukaone Weavers Camp is set in the heart of Central Serengeti, within easy reach of the Seronera valley and its resident predators. Tukaone Hembe Camp is positioned for the view, with the Hembe Hills behind it and open plains running to the horizon. Tukaone Mwaloni Camp sits in the Turner area, quieter than the central circuit and well placed for the migration as the herds move through. Tents are finished with locally milled timber, four poster beds under mosquito netting, and en suite bathrooms with twin basins and hot water. Rooms are available as single, double, triple and family configurations. Rates are full board, and each camp keeps a lounge and bar, a campfire for the evening, charging stations and solar electrical lighting. All three camps are inside Serengeti National Park, which puts game drives minutes from the tent rather than hours away, and places the camps directly on the route of the Great Migration as it circles through the park each year.
