Siafu Serenity Lodge

Siafu Serenity Lodge sits in the green, irrigated village of Mto wa Mbu at the foot of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, a short drive from the gate of Lake Manyara National Park and within easy reach of Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. Founded by Emmanuel Mollel, a safari guide with more than twenty five years in the field, the lodge is laid out as a cluster of brick cottages among lawns, flowering shrubs and banana palms, with 15 deluxe rooms in double, twin and triple configurations. Each room has a mosquito netted bed, air conditioning, free WiFi, handcrafted furniture made by local artisans and a private balcony with garden views. Days wind down at the swimming pool, in the thatched open sided lounge or around the firepit, while the spacious restaurant seats up to 100 guests and serves local and international dishes from an open kitchen, with full board, half board and bed and breakfast options and special diets catered for on request. Spa treatments, guided game drives and cultural walks through Mto wa Mbu can all be arranged at the lodge.
