Seronera Wildlife Lodge

One of Serengeti's original government lodges, Seronera Wildlife Lodge is built directly into a kopje in the heart of the park, close enough to the airstrip and balloon launch site to save time on transfers. Its rooms wrap a central courtyard across two storeys, and its lounge sits among boulders and rock art beneath a thick beamed ceiling. The pool is carved straight out of the rock, and a viewing platform delivers a 360 degree sweep of the plains, with waterholes nearby that draw wildlife past the lodge year round.
