Sand Rivers is an iconic safari lodge on the banks of the Rufiji River in Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous). The camp is open-fronted and airy, designed to feel immersed in the river landscape and surrounding wilderness.
Accommodation includes five riverfront rooms and three hillside suites. Rooms are open-fronted with canopied beds, en-suite bathrooms, hot and cold running water and flush toilets. Hillside suites add extra space and a private plunge pool. Activities include game drives, walking safaris and boating on the Rufiji River, with fly camping available in the reserve.
