Qambani Private Residence

Qambani Private Residence occupies the far tip of the Michamvi Peninsula, one of the most secluded stretches of Zanzibar's east coast, where the Indian Ocean wraps the shoreline in turquoise on three sides. The residence is made up of two self contained villas, Bahari and Kaskazi, each designed in warm Swahili and Arabic style with carved wooden doors, mosquito netted four poster beds and stone bathtubs. Every villa has its own circular pool set in a walled tropical garden, an open air lounge and dining pavilion, and a private stretch of beach access, so guests never have to share space with anyone outside their own party. A 24 hour butler and resident chef are assigned to each villa, tailoring menus and schedules around the guests staying there, with all meals and most drinks included in the all inclusive rate. Days can be spent moving between the pool, the beach and the water, with snorkelling, diving, kiteboarding, paddle boarding and kayaking gear on site, or exploring further afield on a sunset dhow cruise, a sandbank picnic or a Stone Town spice tour.
