Nyumbu Luxury Migration Camp

Nyumbu Luxury Migration Camp is a female led, indigenously owned Tanzanian mobile camp that repositions twice a year to stay close to the wildebeest migration. From 15 December to 31 March it is pitched in the Ndutu area of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area near Lake Masek, in reach of the short grass plains where the herds gather to calve. From 1 June to 31 October it moves to the Kogatende area of Northern Serengeti, close to the Mara River crossings that define that stage of the migration. The 12 tent camp, including two family tents, is furnished to a permanent camp standard with gourmet dining and solar powered hot water showers around the clock, moving away from the idea that a mobile camp must mean foldable furniture and bucket showers. Guests can expect comfortable lounge and dining tents, well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms, easy access to some of the best wildlife viewing in the Ndutu ecosystem in the first half of the year, and prime access to river crossing action during the northern migration season in the second.
