Maramboi Tented Lodge is a large safari lodge near Tarangire National Park, operated by Tanganyika Wilderness Camps. The lodge offers 44 standard tents and 4 family suites positioned on raised wooden platforms with stunning views of the surrounding savannah and Lake Manyara.
Each spacious tent features en-suite facilities, mosquito-netting draped beds, fans, 24-hour electric lighting, writing desks, and private verandas with solar-heated showers. Family suites accommodate 4-5 guests with ample space. Additional in-room amenities include tea and coffee making facilities, drinking water, hairdryers, and complimentary toiletries.
The main area features a thatched lounge with comfortable seating, a large swimming pool overlooking the plains with a pool bar, a gift shop, and an air-conditioned dining room. The camp's open savannah setting provides excellent wildlife viewing, particularly of zebra, wildebeest, and other plains game migrating between Tarangire and Lake Manyara.
