Manyara Baobab Lodge

A short drive from Lake Manyara's park gate, this lodge sits in the Jangwani wildlife corridor where the plains meet the lake's groundwater forest. Its 19 banda style rooms, in double, twin and family layouts, have private verandas, wooden sisal strung beds and canvas windows with mosquito netting. The signature feature is a bar and restaurant built around an old baobab tree, a natural gathering point for evenings after game drives through Manyara's tree climbing lion country.
