About this stay
Loisaba Tented Camp is built along the lip of an escarpment so that every tent and every communal space looks out over the Laikipia plains towards Mount Kenya. Twelve tents are framed in timber and canvas with high ceilings, polished wood floors and full height doors that open the room to the view. Interiors mix Africana furniture with a contemporary European edge, and each en suite bathroom has a double basin vanity and a solar heated rainfall shower. Eleven tents measure seven metres square and one measures nine metres square, while the Safari Suite joins a double tent and a convertible twin tent by a walkway and adds its own private infinity pool. The heart of the camp is a wide wooden deck that carries the open lounge, the bar and the dining area out over the escarpment, alongside an infinity pool that has become one of the most recognisable in Kenya. Wi-Fi, laundry and battery charging are complimentary, and the camp sits within a 58,000 acre conservancy known for elephant, lion and wild dog.
