Leonotis Camp

Leonotis Camp is a remote wilderness camp below the Empakai Crater, accessible only by foot as part of The Great Rift Valley Trek operated by Leonotis Adventures. Set in a grove of magical acacia trees, the camp offers a unique off-grid trekking experience far from the regular northern Tanzania safari circuit. Accommodation is in basic but comfortable tents beneath the golden acacia canopy, where guests sleep under the stars in one of East Africa's most pristine wilderness areas. The camp serves as a midway point on multi-day treks that connect Empakai Crater with Lake Natron.
