Lemala Ngorongoro Tented Camp is set on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, offering 12 spacious canvas tents with stunning crater views. The camp provides a cosy and intimate base for exploring one of Africa's most extraordinary wildlife destinations. Each tent features two queen-size beds with warm winter-weight duvets, gas heaters for cool highland mornings and evenings, and hot water bottles for cold nights. En-suite bathrooms include flush toilets, large safari-style showers, and luxurious towels and bathrobes. Wooden storage cabinets, wooden floors, 24-hour solar lighting, tea-and-coffee stations, and outside loungers complete the comfort. One tent has two bedrooms for families. The large communal mess tent features a lounge with comfortable seating, a bar, and a dining area where guests dine together around a long table. A selection of books and the traditional game of bao provide entertainment. The crater rim location ensures first-access game drives into the crater, typically arriving before most other vehicles.
