About this stay
Karatu Classic View Lodge sits on the edge of Karatu town, in the Ngorongoro Highlands, making it an easy and comfortable stopover before or after visiting Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. The lodge is part of the Classic View Collection, which also runs camps in the Serengeti and at Ndutu.
Rooms are simply furnished with dark wood beds, wooden ceilings and en-suite bathrooms, set around gardens with an infinity style pool looking out over the surrounding hills. The lodge has a cozy dining room and lounge area, and its position close to Karatu town gives easy access to local coffee farms and cultural visits alongside the wider northern circuit.
