Ikuka Safari Camp

Ikuka Safari Camp is a luxury safari camp perched on an escarpment in Ruaha National Park, offering just seven beautifully appointed rooms with panoramic views of the Ruaha wilderness. The camp's elevated position provides sweeping vistas across one of Tanzania's largest and least-visited national parks. Seven open-sided rooms are strung along the escarpment — rooms 1-3 face the sunrise, 4-6 face the sunset — each featuring 24-hour electricity, fans, super-king beds, spacious bathrooms, and comfortable leather seating leading onto large private balconies. Interiors showcase white quartz from the escarpment and sustainably sourced local materials. A two-storey family house offers two bedrooms, a bathroom, and its own private plunge pool. Communal areas include a well-stocked bar, lounge with leather sofas, a dining space with panoramic views, a telescope, and an upstairs library. The swimming pool takes full advantage of the views and is illuminated by paraffin lamps at night. Rates are full board including meals, shared game drives, house drinks, airstrip transfers, and laundry.
